Printed from high-quality carbon fiber nylon. You can mount night vision optics, but this is designed for aesthetics only. 

For installation: Apply a small amount of a strong 2-part adhesive to the underside of the bridge where it contacts the barrel. Snap the bridge into place over the barrel and wait for adhesive to dry.
